Dr Lindsey holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Masters of Public Health from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Lindsey started her journey into medicine in a unique manner, first with a Bachelor of Arts (Major in Psychology, Minor in Advertising) from the University of Southern California, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with Departmental Honours. Dr Lindsey then dabbled in a few health related careers (Assistant in Nursing, Allied Health Assistant, Lifeline Crisis Counsellor) before completing her medical degree.
After graduation, Dr Lindsey completed her junior doctor years on the Sunshine Coast, rotating between Nambour Hospital, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, and Noosa Private Hospital. In 2019, Dr Lindsey completed her Emergency Medicine Certificate from the Australian College of Emergency Medicine with a year long placement in The Prince Charles Hospital, covering both Paediatric & Adult emergencies. She then took this specialised knowledge and skills to work in rural Emergency Departments across Queensland & NSW.
